Our name, The Green Lounge, is inspired by one of the main theories behind garden design.
That is to create a stylish, beautiful, practical and engaging outdoor space which is an extension of your indoor space. Also the inspiration for our logo, we hope conveys this too, that the ultimate goal is reached when both your house and garden are in perfect harmony. Your garden can become your green lounge.
After all, a garden belongs to a house, and its surroundings so ideally garden designs should seamlessly blend in with the style and architecture of the house and location.
At The Green Lounge we strive to achieve this.
We also strive to create outdoor spaces that can be enjoyed all year round. This can be achieved with the use of strong structural shapes for the ground pattern so that the basic form of the garden is there all of the time. Site specific planting, where we like to mix drifts of perennials with evergreen and deciduous trees, shrubs and climbers can also provide all year interest.
